Turns that stay fairTake turns by school day, keep the same weekdays, or do a week each. Holidays are skipped, and a count of trips keeps everyone honest.
Swaps with a yesCan't make it? Ask the whole carpool or one family. The trip stays yours until someone says yes, then everyone sees the change.
Where's the car?The driver taps "on my way", "everyone picked up" and "dropped off", and the other parents see it live.
Kids not ridingMark a sick kid as not riding for a trip, so the driver doesn't wait at the door.
RemindersThe evening before your turn, and half an hour before you leave, with the kids to pick up. Free, no account or email.
How it works
- One parent sets up the carpool: the families, their kids, the trips and how turns go round.
- They send the other parents a six-letter code. Each parent joins and picks their family.
- From then on, every phone shows the same schedule, swaps and trip updates.

Is Turnabout really free?
Yes, for every family, with every feature. The app shows ads, which is how it pays for itself.
Does every parent need the app?
It works best when they do, so swaps and reminders reach them. A parent without the app can still follow the schedule another parent shares.
Does Turnabout track where the car is?
No. It never uses your location. The driver taps a button to say where the trip is.
